Pulitzer Prize-winning historian Ron Chernow joined us May 16 as the event’s Keynote Speaker, kicking off the 2025 Gold Coast Book Fair. He discussed his acclaimed new biography, Mark Twain.
Headlining Author: Gretchen Rubin
Bestselling author Gretchen Rubin was a headlining author at the 2025 Gold Coast Book Fair. On May 17, Rubin discussed her new book, Secrets of Adulthood.
Book Tickets included a copy of the book and priority access to seating and the signing line. General Admission tickets were free and granted secondary access to seating and the signing.

Gold Coast Book Fair 2025 featured tons of authors and activities for kids of all ages! From picture books to graphic novels, to young adult literature, there was something for every reader in the family!
Gold Coast Book Fair is Long Island’s largest annual literary event, with 75 authors, thousands of readers, panels, book signings, workshops, and a festive marketplace with food and vendors. Produced by the non-profit organization, Gold Coast Forum, it takes place over the course of one weekend on the campus of LIU Post and in downtown Oyster Bay. It is free to attend, with activities for readers of all ages.
